<p>Okay, I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one out there who is leaning toward Berkeley but because of finances/ other pretty attractive schools, has a little bit of doubt, so maybe we can remind each other of reasons why berkeley is the best!</p>
<p>I’ll start (rather lamely):</p>
<li>NorCal weather > Cornell, Michigan, MIT weather</li>

<p>It’s close to SF, best city</p>
<p>the reputation.
no other school has 35 of its 36 programs in the top 10 in the nation, nor are the “better” schools as fun.</p>
<p>look at the history of the school!
they were the ones who started a major political revolution, just imagine what they can do in the future :]</p>
<p>they aren’t going to do anything in the future because the only people cal admits now are anit-social asians and all work no fun overachievers.</p>

<p>Berkeley’s chemistry is the best in the world. Just look at the periodic table. EECS, the english department and business are good too, if you’re into that.</p>
<p>Berkeley teaches you the harsher realities of life–without the coddled, hand-holding crap you get from privates. The opportunities are there, you just have to get them yourself.</p>

<p>hah you say they admit people that are all work and no play into berkeley. im practically the opposite (but still take academics seriously enough). Honestly, id probably fit in better at ucsb than berkeley, especially since im more used to southern weather 
but how could anyone pass up a chance at berkeley?</p>
