Well, I've basically figured out what classes I want to take next fall; however, when putting together my prospective schedule I realized that I had to have one particular timeslot for each class for me to be able to attend all the classes and do all the labs... otherwise my schedule would overlap... Is it particularly difficult to get the classes and the schedule I want? My classes of choice are 18.01A part of 18.02A, 8.01, 5.111, FASIP, and a humanities course. Thanks!

not at all. you will basically go into your advisor and choose what classes you want and then a few days later will find out online which sections you get. this is so the maximum number of people can have no conflicts at all.

plus, there is always the chance to change recitations once you are at school.

Also, people doing the scheduling realize that most freshmen are taking a particular subset of classes, and adjust the schedules accordingly.

It doesn't look like there are any conflicts between the classes... if you take afternoon 8.01, you can take a morning HASS, and vice versa.
