Choosing Colleges to Apply/Transfer for Undergraduate Business Major

My ideal schools to go to are Wharton, Stern, Tepper, Olin, Haas, Mendoza, Goizueta, and Kenan Flager, since they are among the top UNDERGRDUATE business programs

But I am aware that they are all very competitive and hard to get into. I was just wondering, if I wasn't cut out for any of these undergraduate business programs after my senior year when I apply to colleges, I would probs have to transfer.

But would be better to

Apply to a less prestigious undergraduate business school then transfer to one of those better ones after Freshman Year

ORRRRRRRRRR

Apply to a college with NO undergraduate business program, but a more prestigious school itself and THEN transfer to one of the schools listed above ^^^^^^ ?

Like which option would I have better chances with?

A good example would be John's Hopkins vs University of Wisconsin-Madison. JHU doesn't have an undergraduate business school, but it is an excellent school in general and well respected, but University of Wisconsin-Madison isn't that great of a school, but it has a decent business school. So would I have a better chance transferring from a place like John's Hopkins or Wisconsin's Business program? (Assuming I get the SAME grades and take about the SAME courses)

It depends on how much cash you want to throw down. You could go to UW or JHU but you will be paying a pretty penny for a school that you know you aren’t even going to graduate from. Also, some credits for these schools might not be even transferable to those schools. I know in Virginia(where I reside) if you go to a CC and have a 3.5(which is really easy) you can transfer to VT or UVA with all the credits you took counting as well so you are not behind. Another thing is if you go to a CC I promise you the courses are going to be way easier for you so you can get a higher GPA making your chances of getting into the prestigious schools easier. I would do general studies at a CC and then transfer so you can basically have all your GEC’s out of the way
