christian college with theology majors?

I am currently searching for christian colleges in the southeast with majors in theology or bible studies and christian, religious education and youth ministry. I have come across a lot of colleges, the only problem I am facing is sorting out the colleges that are not affiliated with a mainstream denomination because i would not like to attend any colleges with extreme views. I am currently looking at Union University, along with some other colleges. If any of y'all could help me find a college with my majors I would appreciate it. Suggestions of colleges to look into and avoid would be very nice. Thank You.

Since your mind seems to be made up as to the Christian “type” you want to hang with, try Asbury in Wilmore, KY. You will find a comfortable, linear education there.

help?

As an Alumni and Employee of Brewton-Parker College, just because a Christian college is affiliated with a Denomination, the college may not hold too tightly to a particular denominations beliefs. BPC holds tighter to a Baptist PoV than Mercer would, but most would say we do not hold as strictly to the Baptist faith and message as Truett-McConell. All three colleges have their benefits and are Christian schools. (Please, no cracks on Mercer.)
