CHSPE eligible for university?

Hello, I am an incoming Junior in high school and have passed the California High School Proficiency Exam. It is equivalent to a high school diploma.

I have looked at many threads regarding the CHSPE and it seems like the most common route is to enroll in CC for the remaining 2 years.

I plan to take the SAT and ACT, but I'm not so sure about going to CC. I'm not that enthusiastic about CC, nor do I think I'm good/motivated/capable enough of going into a transfer program at a CC. Transfer programs are very competitive I heard, and my parents and I believe I don't have the stamina and smarts to be in that environment.

At this point in my life I believe it is the time to be asking questions about my future and what I am capable of doing.
I want to go into a music/liberal arts program at any reputable university.

My question is: is it possible to apply for university with just a CHSPE and an SAT score?
Which universities accept this whole-heartedly?
A list of universities that accept the CHSPE would be greatly appreciated.

I'm hoping to get an SAT score in the mid-2000s (hahaha but who knows I will probably get lower!).

Thanks in advance,
N

Sorry, to clarify I mean universities who are focused on music and liberal arts.

I think you need to contact the colleges in which you’re interested in attending. I don’t think most schools have policies on state-specific proficiency tests. Good luck!
