Hi, When I received my acceptance letter I noticed that i was admitted to CIT but I've noticed that some people have been admitted to CIT- ECE. Since ECE is what i intend on studying, is there an easy solution to fix this, or was i not accepted into ECE? Any information is useful, thanks!

In your admission letter there will be a line stating if you are restricted. I don’t remember specifically but my S had a line stating he could enroll in all CIT programs, no restriction to ECE. A friends S was admitted but restricted from specifically from ECE.

I have a line that says that I can enroll in all CIT programs. Would I do this after I accept the school, while I’m in the school, or do i transfer into it?

I don’t have details but in CIT you will be required to take 2 intro to engineering courses. My S was originally thinking ChemE but when he took the ECE intro course he decided to make ECE his major.

Intro to ECE is a weeder. There is supposedly no curve, but in all actuality they curve at the end. Also, the semester is significantly easier after the halfway mark(the drop deadline). Dont drop it if you get a 20% on the first test. I know a few people that got this kind of score but ended up with a C in the class.

Heads up.
