Claim Free and Reduced Lunch Program on FAFSA (how long after graduate high school can I claim) ?

I read that I can claim Free and Reduced Lunch program on FAFSA for 2 years after my last year I was able to apply/qulaify for Free and Reduced Lunch program (Senior year in high school 2015 ).
So does that mean since FAFSA is now on prior prior year that I can put that I qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch program on the 2018/2019 FAFSA application since information on this FAFSA is prior prior year which would be 2016/2017 and that would still be within the 2 year qualification period after my last year I was able to apply/qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch program (Senior year in high school 2015 )?

Does anyone else on your family qualify for a means tested benefit? A younger sibling on free/reduced lunch?

What bout SNAP?

Was your family eligible to file a 1040A or 1040 EZ form?

Is either of your parents a displaced worker?

I’m assuming you need one of the above criteria to qualfy for the simplified needs test.

@kelsmom ??

If you, your parents, or anyone in your parents’ household received free or reduced price school lunch (or any of the other eligible federal benefits) at any time in 2016 or 2017, then that works for the 2018-2019 FAFSA. If the last time that any of the eligible federal benefits was received was prior to 2016, that will not work for the 2018-2019 FAFSA.

Did they file a 1040A tax form in 2016, and will they in 2017?

No they did not file 1040A return just 1040- but my mom was terminated from her job due to long term medical condition (total temp disable as diagnosed by doctor ) so she is unable to return to her profession and this is what definition says of dislocated worker so qualify for parent dislocated worker
