<p>I intend on applying ED1 for CMC, assuming my ACT scores are back in time, otherwise I will send the same SAT scores. Thanks a lot for your help..:)</p>

<p>About Me
I enjoy being in leadership or organizational roles. I make a plan and stick to it, making sure that whatever needs to get done gets done on time. Physics and Economics are my two favorite subjects. Photography(Photographs) and French are somethings that interest me a lot as well.</p>
<p>Leadership Experience
Class Representative (Grade 9)
I was voted as one of the two class representatives for the year. We were put in place to moderate any disputes and to help convey any concerns the students had to the teachers. We helped organize a quiz and a fest in which other schools from the city participated.</p>
<p>Elected Editor of the High School Newspaper(Grade 11)
I was selected to be the editor of the our high school newspaper NEW(S). In the newspaper we write about topics ranging from our yearly sports fest to controversial political issues.</p>
<p>Summer/Winter programs
Exchange Program
I was selected by my teachers to take part in an exchange program between my school and a school in Bavaria, Germany. The student from Bavaria stayed in my house for two weeks in November 2008. I stayed in my exchange partners house for two week in May 2009.</p>
<p>Internship
Internship at *******. A Prototype P.C.B manufacturing company located outside my city. This was for a total 3 weeks. I spent one week at the factory as I managed the manufacture a particular order and another two weeks at the main office where I reviewed the balance sheet of the company.</p>
<p>Community Service
Interact Club (20hrs)
IGIA Fundraiser- Raised funds for a Sri Lankan Refugee School in my city. We managed to raise about Rs. 15000. This money went in to getting better school resources for the children.

<p>SUPW(50~hrs)
We either visit an old age home or a government school for two hours a week. While there we teach the students english to make it easier for them to find a job later(junior year). During our senior year, we went weekly for two hours to a local blind school to help the children learn english and other day to day thing that will help them in the future.</p>

Trip
Me along with a few fellow class mates were selected to go on a trip to The Indian Institute of Science in my City. (10th Grade)</p>
<p>French Courses
I took two three month courses at the local Alliance Française. These classes were three hours each on Saturday and Sunday. I started this course in the summer and finished it in my ninth grade year. I then took the test for the 3rd course in my senior year and passed.</p>
<p>Internship
Internship at Tally Solutions for a week. They are a business management firm located in my city. Learnt about business and marketing firms.</p>
<p>EcoNation
A company which a fellow class mate and I created. Our aim was to create new and innovative methods of advertising with an environmental focus. </p>
<p>Young Enterprise
I was a part of the research and development team of our schools annual young enterprise. This year we created and sold original bags and other accessories with the help of the blind school we go to. A percentage of our profits went to the school.</p>
<p>Economist Essay
Wrote an essay for the economist magazines competition.</p>
<p>SCORES:</p>
<p>GPA: 4.0 ~ 4.7 ( not sure because we dont have gpa in the a level syllabus)</p>
<p>SAT:
cr=670, wr=660, math=640.
I know they are low and will be doing ACT in oct, aiming for 31-32.</p>
<p>SAT II:</p>
<p>Doing in oct, Phys= 760(practice tests)
math 2= 720(practice tests)</p>
<p>I have good recommendations and have an interview next month, that will hopefully go well. Will try and play the leadership parts of my app.</p>
<p>My essays are fairly good.</p>
