Clarification of Application Status

<p>On the Common App website, it says for my yale application:</p>

<p>Application : Downloaded (Date: 11/02/2008)
Supplement: Submitted (Date: 11/01/2008) Due: 11/01/2008
Payments: Submitted (Date: 11/01/2008)</p>

<p>Obviously, the whole application was due 11/01, but I am not sure why the status for the common application says downloaded, because a couple of minutes before when I submitted it, it said submitted (Date: 11/01/2008) the same as for the supplement. Does anyone know what this means?</p>

<p>I think it means Yale got your application and actually downloaded it into their system or something of that sort.</p>

<p>Yeah, it means that Yale has received the application and downloaded it. My status is exactly the same. More paranoia: have you gotten your confirmation email from Common App? Does it normally take them a while to send it?</p>

<p>I submitted mine on the morning of the 31st.</p>

<p>Ahh, I have the exact same situation kleagles, I submitted mine at 8:38pm, and now it says downloaded 11/02/2008, and I still haven't gotten the email. It just bothers me, along with the idea that I don't get the chance to do anything to my application now.</p>
