Does anyone know anything about the studio art program at Clark? My D applied for art RD. Her stats are a kind of low for Clark, but according to Naviance, which looks at past applicants from her school, it's not hopeless. She submitted an art portfolio. We met with the head of the art department and really liked it. The whole university appealed to us.

If anyone has first hand experience with studio art at Clark I'd love to hear about it!

I see no one has replied to you about this…I don’t actually know the answer to your question but thought I’d post what I read on one of those other college review sites (it seems like students use many of those sites to gripe, but so I guess take it with a grain of salt). I don’t remember the entire post but part of it was that there are limited art courses offered in any particular semester and it’s hard to get into whatever courses they have. That student also wrote that there wasn’t enough studio space. Have you been able to take a look at the course catalog to see what they actually offer? My understanding of Clark’s art department is that students don’t need to submit a portfolio, which puts it in a different category than many other programs.
