Clark Scholars 2012

Oh wait it was D Scott not Dr. Scott

I have yet to receive a confirmation email. The mail people said that they would have gotten it by Thursday. If you go on the “Tips for Completing Application” thing or whatever and open it up, though, it says not to fret about receiving the email late if you turned in the application late.

I’M STILL FRETTING

hahahaha.

H Santos signed me off :D.

I’m pretty sure we won’t get emails on weekends, everyone. I emailed Ms. Durham several times, all the times either on a Friday night, Saturday, or Sunday. She always responded very early Monday morning. My guess is they take the weekend off.

Whew I just got my email today. Thank goodness ((:

Still haven’t gotten my email, but I’m sure its in their hands. Is anyone in the same situation?

I still haven’t gotten the email either…I’m a little worried about my recs though. I sent Ms. Durham an email and she said it was okay to send them separately, but my recs were sent before my application. so I don’t know if they have some kind of filing system?

Still no email :/

Sent from my SGH-T959V using CC

Let’s hope they send the confirmation by tomorrow, otherwise we should emailing them to see if there’s a problem

According to USPS, my stuff got there on Friday, but I still haven’t received confirmation…

Kait, same here…lets give them till monday, then we can email.

What are you guys gonna do this summer if you don’t get in?

Ms. Durham replied:

Good Afternoon E-----:

I have received your application to the Clark Scholars Program and it is complete. Unfortunately you did not follow instructions on the application. PART B should print out on one page only: “limit your response to this page”. PART C the narrative should be one page only, “limit your statement to ONE page”. Were you not paying attention or just decided to ignore instructions? For your future reference, some programs will automatically disqualify your application if you do not follow instructions. Selection for the 2012 Program will be made, hopefully, by mid-April. You will be notified of your standing once selections have been made. Please let me know if you have any questions.
