i first got a call from Dr. SanF April 15 asking if i was still interested.
i got a letter today, April 24(i live in NJ), asking for my rsvp by may 2.

<p>good luck to you who are waiting. my biggest reccomendation is that if you are into research, don't be afraid to ask a prof if you can work in his/her lab. many profs are very helpful and willing to have a hs in their lab, esp if you are willing to work for free. if this is something you want to do, be proactive about it. </p>

<p>I got the acceptance by e-mail today. I'm doing Math/Statistics.</p>
<p>Wow, we've got almost half of all available positions! </p>
<p>I think I might seek a few scientists around my area these few weeks. Ms. Durham said results will still continue till next week, but I think things seem pretty much set right now. Considering where I live, finding a decent science research internship will be extremely easy. I just wanted to have some fun living in a dorm and visiting Texas but staying home may be for the best ^^; After all, not everybody may be able to find science internships around the nation as easily as I can and they should be given priority. Congrats all and I hope you guys all have fun! This may be my last post in this thread unless I feel talkative during the weekend or later~</p>
<p>marimare, you are right. although i was accepted into clark scholars. i have also been accepted a few internships as well at lets say one of the top research laboratories in the country. it is really hard deciding between clarks and other internships.</p>
<p>Hmm, I'm pretty sure the email I got was false hope, lol. After I replied that I was still interested, Ms. Durham replied saying they'll contact me when final decisions are made.</p>
