Swine Flu…I’m still stuck in the last pandemic. Avian flu, I believe it was.

What about SARS and drug-resistant tuberculosis? I guess there’s AIDS, too, but that’s still going on…

Our school went ahead with APs anyway, but if we borrow a pen or pencil, they’ll have us keep it because they think having us return them will promote the spread of the disease…

Facebook isn’t blocked at your school? How does your econ class have computers, anyway?

Is that you, m.sides, who I just approved ?

mesquite girl? is that menaka? aah clark scholars nostalgia!
i miss it so much!

The clark scholars program sounds like a lot of fun! How were your experiences this past summer, for all of you who went?

I am especially interested in business. So, if anyone did business research this past summer, I would love to know how it went! oh, I can’t wait to apply!

This thread is the 2009 thread. I’ll reply to your post in the 2010 thread. :)

does anyone know if this program is nonresidential or residential?

this is residential program, and anyways will apply next year, the people here are just freaking awesome!

what kinds of projects are available for those who choose an area of interest outside the sciences? for example, i know if i choose biochemistry, I will be working in a lab, but if I choose to research history, what kind of stuff would I be doing?

Essentially anything you want, if I correctly understand the how the program works.

Also, you might want to wait for a reply at the more recent thread here.
