Clarkson Regular Decisions for the Class of 2027

Congrats!!

thanks for the update. No such information here. My D applied Nov 4. Engineering. I wonder if the information is being released based on the school to which you applied?
congratulations Snakeonion, which school did you apply to/Major? is Clarkson your #1 school?

My son sent his application in on 10/26 to the School of Engineering. Portal still says “awaiting decision” but if you scroll down to the to do list there is a link that says " [Clarkson Accepted Students Network - Add Your Profile]" I would like to think that is a good sign.

I am curious to know if anyone also applied to the honors program. I wonder if that is holding things up, too?

Good luck to everyone.

I don’t have any decision yet, it still says awaiting decision. I’m guessing around 5-6pm est. I only have that financial aid thing that says “accepted students”. I applied to the college of engineering for computer engineering. I’ll post stats if/when I get in

Congrats to all!! My son received his acceptance today! He applied for civil engineering and the letter said “30k minimum” in merit scholarships per year, but I can’t find a breakdown to see if that includes any of the extra scholarships he applied for. Did anyone else get detailed scholarship info?

“30k minimum” in merit scholarships per year"

Same here… I believe they said financial aid info will be sent in about 2 weeks. The deadlines for most of the additional scholarships is 2/1, so I suspect those will be awarded after the fact (and if I recall, those extra scholarships do not impact financial aid). If your child applied for Ignite, I believe they have a selection round in Feb, then interviews, and then notifications in March. So it could be a while before you know anything else.

Neither have I, we’ll hear back from them soon!

An acceptance package just came in the mail today; same “30k minimum” merit scholarships. I did apply for Ignite and for honors, but didn’t hear about either.

When did you apply?

I am curious for those accepted (my daughter was accepted as well into the applied math program), what is the number one selling point for choosing Clarkson?

November 4

Clarkson has an excellent placement history with high wages. It is far enough way to be AWAY from home but close enough if an issue arises. My D likes the internship and hands on opportunites. Small but not too small a community, Overseas learning opportunites and she likes that there is SUNY Potsdam down the road for other options.

I’m getting nervous because I applied pretty late (just before the regular due date). I’m hoping someone will be in the same boat as myself…

Same here…Yet to hear back. It’s strange that online update happens later than the snail mail.

Son applied regular decision and completed an interview that went very well and his admissions adviser recommended he apply for the Presidential Fellows Scholarship, which he did. His portal still says “Awaiting Decision” but tonight there was a new form asking him to acknowledge financial aid. Nothing about accepted student but it seemed odd to all of a sudden get that. Just wondering if those that have already been accepted saw a similar form in their portal prior to acceptance?
