i have a lil problem. i have major SeNioritus right now. i was really pumped about school and college and then all of a sudden BAM i dont care anymore. my grades are lowering and i cant find the drive to raise them up.

i believe i am capable of raising them by the end of the semester but i dont know if i will. im bein lazy and wanting this year to hurry up and end.

PLEASE help. i need to snap out of this!

p.s.

can anyone tell me how important the final transcript is to colleges? what are the chances of them revoking admission for a decline in your grades?

Life is about choices. Sometimes we make the right ones. IF you do not achieve the grades you feel you NEED to get into the college YOU WANT because of senioritis, then are you OK with your plan B or C school? Maybe you should take a year off after high school-see what it is like to flip burgers-and then apply to the college of your choice.....
Every college has the right to revoke your acceptance based on your final transcript. Not a threat-just a fact...hum...

I'm having the same problem. I'm taking dual credit classes at a local university campus, and I'm hardly doing anything! I've barely started my admissions essays either.

I have that problem too. Ive already gotten my two first C's. What helps relieve the pressure is sending in all your apps in august and getting accepted last friday to your first choice.

i have this horrible habit of lying face up on my bed with my music on and... thinking about how im not being productive at all. =(
wake me up when ED decisions come in.

i feel so horrible. gosh. i just want to sit and do nothing but i know i need to snap out of it. doesnt it suck. its suppose to be the best year in high school yet its the most stressful. i feel im getting dummer as the period bells ring. lol

my wish:
My first choice college comes to my door and hands me an acceptance letter. For the rest of the year i just sit here and be unproductive.
THat would be great.

yup, don't worry people, we're all going through this... it's just a matter of finding the will power to do something about it vs. being lazy and letting senior yr. slide. come on- this is our last yr. in hs: don't drive the ball all the way to the goalpost and not shoot it in... (my dad's fav. saying :))
