Has anyone actually gotten an acceptance letter in the actual mail??
I got an email but I was hoping for one via snail mail
Anyone gotten one???

I got one @mjbaker

@mjbaker Yes, you’ll get an actual letter and then a nice certificate…and then, it would seem, something else from UA several times a week. Their postage bill must be huge!

I think think this is the first time I have ever posted on CC, but I have been lurking for a long time. I so appreciate all of the incredibly helpful information I have found here! DD would never have applied to Bama if it were not for CC, where I learned about the great merit scholarships at UA!

Congrats! Don’t over think it. My D is in a sorority and in the Emerging Scholars program. It’s all about time management…

Thanks for the reply, @LucieTheLakie. I will definitely keep an open mind and I’ve decided to, for the most part, just not think about it anymore until I visit (hopefully in January/early Feb).

Yes, acceptance letter came in the mail.

D got a letter and certificate last week after applying in mid Oct. She’s OOS. She and DW are actually there today taking the tour and attending the presentations etc. So far she has been impressed.
@lizzer72 The problem was not with the campus or the students. The school found out that some Greek alums were a problem, so that issue has been resolved. The houses are now integrated.
