^ mulling it over a little, I might like that kind of school year.

It’s definitely more than that. At least 4 weeks on before off I would think. That would leave 173 available school days a year. Considering holidays, it must be wrong. I’ve heard in the past it is 6 on and 2 off. This seems right. It would be roughly 195 available days. Throw in around 10 holidays and maybe an extra week off when they switch grades.

Yeah, I’m probably wrong since I haven’t talked to them about school in years. The rare times I see them, school is not something we talk about.

i actually like the idea of year round school. i dont think a lot of schools around my area do it though.

4 days till school… =/

I love the idea of year-round school btw.

Starting in beginning of September. It’s gonna suck from now on till January with college apps and all that. =[

I’m still in the summer state of mind. Sleeping until 12. Madden and basketball all day!

ill be in the summer state of mind until september 9. maybe even a bit after that.

ugh i start school (technically) tmrw!! ahhhh!!! :(

Ewwww, going “back” from this weekend is proving to be even worse than going back from summer. I hate school.

Classes for me start in 3 days, high school starts in 8 days. Still working on summer homework :(

School starts for me in September. I’m happy it’s Senior year but not happy about all the changes made to our school for this year.

I start school tomorrow!

^^ ewww. haha

I start school next week. I have 2 British lit books to read for Honors English with a journel each(plus essays) due by Sept 11 lol.

I start school on the third. i have massive amounts of summer work to do. I pretty much have all of Anna Karenina to read and then some ap stats problems and french packets.

I have a lol amount of work left.

^Me too. And I’m still not doing it. So far I attempted one sentence of the AP Bio book and three Calculus problems.

On another note, I have a meeting with the guidance counselor soon to talk about colleges. The main reason is because I’m including some schools in other countries on my list of ‘to apply to’. Although I don’t think he’ll know much. No one in my school’s done that as far as I’ve seen (from acceptance stats/places where people have gone; I was surprised that stuff was available).

everyone starts so early

I start on Monday. Still got ~275 pages of Pride and Prejudice to go.
