Class of 2010

Whew! We're almost juniors! Who is excited? What are your plans for the 2008-2009 school year?

Mine:
Raise my GPA i.e. get straight A's
Obtain a leadership position in the club that I'm in and join a few more and become an active member (long story short: small school+ no specific activities dealing with my interests=join clubs in the general arena in my interest)
Continue to cultivate my passions

My junior year objective:

Survive.

I definitely know how you're feeling!

I can barely stop thinking about what I'm going to be doing. Junior year is THE YEAR. It's where everything comes together. For me, I'll be doing AP Chemistry, AP Biology, and AP European History (along with Honors PreCalc and Honors English). On top of this, there are SATs, PSAT, and ACT to worry about! Not to mention the fact that junior year is the year where you must polish off everything for colleges.

Get involved in ECs, survive APUSH with an A (notoriously hard class), get better at cross country/track, study for PSAT and get NMSF, take SATs and do well, actually study for AP tests, start college apps, survive!

Lolz looks like my senior year. I'm auditing LC and self-studying AP Chem with my friend who's actually taking AP Chem. I<3 Bio. Yay grade inflation!

I know it'll be hard, but we'll survive. Right guys?! Plus we have a WHOLE SUMMER ahead of us. Why worry now and ruin your summer?

Plans:
Do everything.
And pray.

Excuse me if this sounds obnoxious, but I think I'll be just fine junior year. I'm only taking a couple of really hard classes (only one AP) and I'm organized enough and I'm ridiculously excited for the college process.

Oyy! I wanted to start this thread.

But wtv, yay for juniors!

My plans:

To survive my classes, get a good score on the SATs
AND
sleep for a minimum of 6 hours each night (or hope to)

torture freshmen!!! finds thumbscrews

EVIL LAUGH

I'm actually really excited. Not only will I be getting a leadership position on the school paper, but I'm also taking Philosophy (taught by my favorite teacher) and going to Italy on a school trip (well, if they accept me on the trip). It's going to be a hard, but also fun year.

Goals:
-Get A's in APUSH and AP English Language. Also, get award for English.
-Do well in leadership position on school paper.
-Do well in Philosophy.
-Improve upon Math and Science skills (I got a 0 on a quiz today in Math, so...this needs to be done.).
-Improve volleyball skills.

Aaaaaah well my primary goal is to make it through the year without burning out or flunking APUSH. And if I can survive the workload, then hopefully become a captain of the crew team. Oh and also I need to get a good SAT score and take a few subject tests. And do some college visiting. Yayness.
