Okay, so I saw this on the Princeton board and thought it was a great idea. Any 2011 ED applicants out there who wouldn’t mind posting user names with their prospective majors? Hopefully, we’ll see each other on campus!!!

The deadline has now officially passed for ED! Come on, there's got to be more than FOUR applicants! :-)

NU is my number one choice school. When looking into many other schools, I could not find another that offered every single one of my specific requirements. However, I believe that I can strengthen my application before the RD round and have decided to wait until then. I wish I was finding out in December with you guys! Good luck!

sarahahah - Print Journalism (but reading up on the "medill's changing emphasis" post.. is this still an option? cause aren't they making it so you focus on a variety of different journalism techniques and not just solely on print, broadcast, etc.?)

anyways, nice to see lots of other aspiring journalists :)

I went to an informational meeting thing at Medill and they said that they DO make you take classes in all the different areas, but you declare which are you're going to focus on at the start of junior year. So, yeah, you can still be a Print Journalism major. Yay! :-) Any other ED applicants? The notification date is less than a month away...I'm SO nervous!!!!

neuroticlikewhoa - SESP (with a double major in history from WCAS)

typecastme22- theatre

batman628- political science/ international studies

13 days...AHH!

I am freaking out! Wait...how do you get 13 days?

Last year didn't they hear around the 10th?

Yeah they heard on the 10th but the 10th this year is a Sunday. My guess is the 11th or 12th.

online decisions probably on the 9th or 10th

THAT is extremely nerve-wracking :( do paper notifications come in later then?

batman- have you heard this from northwestern or is it just your own speculation based on prior years?
