whats the crisis?

crap...does NYU require SAT II's??? I applied to CAS ED and sent them..they arent very good though

They require 2 SAT II's. This is the first year they're requiring them.

How many students applied ed this year at NYU? Has that number been released?

Not yet. It will probably appear first on the Public Affairs web site and/or an article in Washington Square News.

why did some people already hear back for the gsp program? does nyu usually do this

^

i'm not 100% sure but from what i gather, gsp people hear back early so that they can decide whether or not to still take up NYU's offer, since they will not be attending the original school they applied for. but i think gsp is good, since you eventually end up at the school you want anyway.

I haven't told anyone that i did send my app to nyu early. i wanted to surprise my mom b/c she wants me to go there and i didn't tell my friends b/c i thought it's not right to tell them and not my mom. so next week, i'll have to face everyone. if it's a positive answer, i know that my mom will be thrilled. But the worst is facing my best friends ~ i don't even know why i didn't tell them! maybe that would have made me less stressed. oh, and btw, have you finished apps for other colleges? I'll be officially skrewed next week if i'm not accepted. my other college apps are so bad compared to the nyu one. grrr!!
