I’m not trying to go anywhere spectacular, just a decent private university up North with an acceptance rate between 30 and 50…lol. I just want a chill year with no ******* teachers so I can have time to do my college apps and just hang out. I’ll probably only have homework in 2 or 3 of those classes at a time. Wish I had block schedule though for the first three years when I actually needed time to do my homework. My grades suck, but whatever…lol.

I need help deciding on a schedule, mind helping?

So far:
English 4 Hon
Band (Wind Ensemble)
AP Cal AB
AP Gov/Eco or Honors? (Not sure, need help to decide)

I need two more classes but don’t know which to pick out of these:
AP Music Theory
AP Chemistry
AP Psych

I’m leaning towards Theory and Psych, but it may look better going for chemistry instead. What do you think?

I fell in love with Barnard, and am almost sure I’ll be applying ED this upcoming fall. Having already taken AP Art History (5), AP Calculus AB (4/5), and AP US History (4/5), this is what I listed for my senior year course load:
AP Biology
AP Psychology
AP Statistics
AP Italian
Literature of Social Criticism (HN)
Photo I and II

1st semester:
Calculus II (@university)
Linear Algebra (@university)
AP Lit
… I don’t know what else

2nd sem
Calculus III
Physics for Scientists and Engineers II (covers Physics C E & M plus some)
AP Lit
… idk what else.

Wow, you guys have some very full schedules. 8-12 classes for some of you? That’s crazy! At my school, we only have six classes in a day, you take every class every day, and we keep the same schedule for both semesters.
I’m taking:
AP Gov.
AP English Lit.
AP Calculus BC
AP Physics C
AP Psych or AP Bio depending on which one I get into
Journalism <–I’ll probably be editor-in-chief!
and then maybe a science/medical internship

That + ECs + work + college apps = stress + crappy first semester of senior year.

ap calc
ap french
physics
orchestra ftw
ap lit
ap gov
health (mandatory)
drivers Ed hopefully :)

ap english lit
ap physics c (mech and e&m)
ap calc bc
ap spanish
ap macroeconomics
ap us gov’t
band

good life. lol jk.

AP English Lit
AP US Gov (includes half-year Econ; don’t know if it’s intensive enough to take an AP)
AP Physics C (not sure which one the course corresponds to, though)
AP Calc AB
AP Stats
Honors French IV (will probably take AP exam)

I also have room for two study halls every six days but no room for electives. Basically, my schedule sucks compared to everyone else on here.

meh still haven’t finalized it but it should look like:

phys c
bc calc
human geo
spanish
english
comp sci
(elective)
then 2 frees(i can exchange my 2 frees for bio)

btw all those courses are AP.

ENG 1101/1102 at community college
AP Calc BC
AP Physics (Mechanics)
AP Physics (Electricity and Magnetism)
Band

Since I’m doing dual-enrollment (high school and college credit) for lit. at community college, I only take 4 classes at my actual high school (college is about 20 min. away from high school - time built in to commute).

I’m really, really excited - band, easy lit, and the rest = math and science. yes :D

edit: oh, plus a semester of (regular) econ online. graduation requirement, no room in schedule… bleh. and probably will self-study AP psych just 'cause I think it’s interesting.

AP Physics
AP Calc BC
AP Econ
AP Gov
AP Lit
Art

Yeah sooo i like a challenge but i’m always not sure how i’ll be able to handle it but I think i’ve created a pretty challenging yet able schedule

Trimester 1:
AP BC Calculus
AP Physics C: mechanics
AP Bio
English 12
Spanish 5 regular

Trimester 2: Same as above but probably add an extra elective like Forensics
Trimester 3: Same as trimester 1

Look good if I’m applying to colleges like Saint Louis University, WashU-StL, Case Western Reserve, UW-Madison, Rhodes collges, and Tufts (maybe ED)?

Btw: i’ve got an ACT of 29 (looking to bump it up to 30-31) and a gpa of 3.5~3.6 (depending on next year; not the best I know) out of 4

My school isn’t a traditional HS, so here it goes:

First Semester:
AP Lit
BIM (need it to graduate, though I might take it online)
AP Bio
Orchestra

Second Semester:
Honors Anatomy
AP Bio (3 terms at my school)
AP Stat
Either Off-Campus or Psych
Orchestra

Again, my school is VERY different from a normal HS.

My schedule:
AP Physics C
AP Calculus BC
AP Literature
AP Gov
AP Russian

AP Spanish Language
Orchestra
Jazz Ensemble
AP English Lit. & Comp.
AP Calculus BC
AP U.S. Government & Politics
AP Physics B

5 APs + 2 music classes = awesome ratio of stress:fun

lol it’s incredible how everyone in this forum is an overachiever/has several APs and stuff

planned schedule (entire year):

AP English
AP Psychology
Pre-Calculus
Physiology
Acting (1 year of an Arts class requirement)
US Government/Economics (1 semester each)
Spanish 2 in the local community college

That will be my first year taking APs, so I wasn’t sure whether I would be able to handle 3 APs. Besides, by the time I start my Senior year, I will have less than 2 years in the US, so yeah. Also, I wanna have time for my writing :)

AP Literature
AP Calculus
AP Psychology
AP Microeconomics
Honors Anatomy & Physiology
Wind Ensemble
Gym

swag
