Yup. I’m guessing your school does it differently. We are required to take at least 6, but we have 8 periods in a day. Most people here do 7 + Study Hall.

Self-studying: Studying for an AP test without taking the class / on your own.
For example: My school doesn’t offer AP Psychology, so I self-studied it.

AP English
AP Calc BC
AP Physics C (hopefully!)
AP Bio
AP French
H Anatomy and Physiology (this is supposed to be a really hard class at my school)

AP English Language
AP Calculus AB
AP Bio
Spanish IV
Western Civilization (similar to Euro)
Science Research
US Foreign Policy/Personal Finance (required to graduate)

By the way, unfortunately, this is just about as rigorous of a schedule as you can get in my high school.

I’m going to self-study:

Calc BC
Physics C: Mechanics
Statistics
Chemistry
Art History

First Semester:
World Literature
Western Civilization
Latin II
Human Anatomy and Physiology
Electricity and Magnetism
Linear Algebra
and choosing between Multivariate Calculus and Organic Chemistry

Second Semester:
World Literature
Western Civilization
Latin II
Differential Equations
Thermal Physics, Waves, and Optics
Astronomy
and maybe Intro to Neuroscience or some other class

AP Physics B (which is apparently a cult; they have breakfast every week)
AP Calculus AB (self-studying to take the BC test)
AP US Gov/Honors Econ (maybe self-study Macro and/or Micro)
AP Lit
AP Psych
Honors Wind Ensemble
Honors Advanced Anatomy (which is even more of a cult; we dissect cadavers and do all these ridiculous projects)
