This is exciting everyone! I was accepted a week ago to my safety, Knox College, with 16000 annual merit scholarship. :)

My daughter was accepted today by the University of Virginia as a sophomore Spring transfer!

My nephew was just accepted to Vassar with a full ride through the Questbridge program. What makes it sweeter is that this is a kid that, up until August, was planning on community college because of finances. I suggested that he look into Questbridge and we were stunned when he got the gold ring! It was a grueling process but his persistence paid off! :) I couldn't be happier if it was my own child!

Congrats to your nephew patsmom, and to his Aunt too for recommending QB to him! DD Amherst full ride is also through QB! Yesterday was a great day, now if I can just get this big ole grin off my face........:)

Just like to add my S just found out he's accepted to College of Charleston.

Thanks, GAMOM, and congratulations to your daughter! Amherst is just awesome!

Huge congratulations to everyone posting on this thread. You've got to be SO proud of the amazing job you or your kids have done! I just love reading about the acceptances and scholarships - keep 'em coming! :)

Such great news all around!! Goes to show it doesn't necessarily matter, in the long run, if you go to tri-cities HS in a rural county, a big public HS or a prestigious private HS. There are great college opportunities for great kids out there!! Congrats again to all!!!!!

So far D has been accepted to Bard and FSU. Still waiting to hear from the others.

Congratulations to all with good news and good luck to those still waiting to hear!
