I need to take some courses in physics before I go off enrolling in an engineering school.

To CC I go.

I need to take some courses in physics before I go off enrolling in an engineering school.

To CC I go.

^^
Yah that sounds fine. But is it weighted differently? Will that hurt you?

Blackrose- is what weighted different? The honors class? Yeah. And I mean fit as in there are no APs left at my school. I would have to go cross town which would make me sacrifice a class at my school which is pointless.

So… should i take Physics and Diff Eqs at a CC?

I have an option of picking 3 out of these classes over the summer:

Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Management of Technology / Business.

Not sure what to choose.

^ Yes.

Biology, Chemistry, and Biomed.

^^^^ Okay.
So would it be better to not have that one class that will lower your rank?

How are you all paying for these classes?
I wanted to do one in Asian studies and journalism but I can’t find a school and I can not find out how to pay for this stuff. Like they seem to run up to the 5000’s where I live.

MIT- take those
Marine- I agree with what MIT said
Black- yeah, all of the other kids in the top of the class are taking 5 APs, except one who’s taking 4 and 1 honors… I’ll try it. I just want the colleges (Rutgers) to know that I’m not slacking (taking classes at CC)

Black- my local CC has a high school partnership program (it’s free)
I’m under the math science and technology program right now(because of the comp programming)

Our school only offers 1 class through dual enrollment, and sadly it’s not free lol.
Neither are the classes I’m taking over the summer.

^^LOL Rutgers doesn’t care about your 4 APs, that’s probably alot to them xD

What’s dual?
And only one kid per semester can do it… I told someone I hope they forgot (:

Woeishe be quiet. Don’t talk about my dream school. And I am applying to 9 other schools too…

^^^ Hush, negro.
^^ Dual enrollment: taking university-level classes

Percent applicants admitted: 61%. … You’re going to get in.

Is that what I’m doing?

Woe- good job on doing your homework, I didn’t know that… I think that’s how UCONN is…
But even still… I need good FA or I can’t go anywhere. Fingers double crossed.

@CPU: Honestly, I’m not sure. No one around here has ever done it, since we only have 1 community college that I’m not even zoned to, therefore I can’t attend while I’m still in high school.

@CPU when it comes to college, I’m as pretentious and informed as the best of them (:

Damn… if I wanted to do CC in Memphis, it’d be Southwest Tennessee CC for me.
