:( aww
and haha yeah fail

CPU
It’s beautiful!!!
I can’t beleive you got if for $300.At my school to get something like that would have been closer to like 500, even more if in gold.

I really need to get my post count up
To the chances forum I go!

Edit: Nvm, I really don’t feel like it.

black-- yeah gold is ex*****ve -_-

lol @ my friend from NC said he didnt buy a class ring because they were “expensive” at $90 -______________-

I want to get one next year. I hope my parents let me. If I don’t then i’ll just wait till I can get a college one.

My parents want me to get a ring.

I said **** no.

@CPU: Aww haha. Is he rich or not so rich?

My ex friend said class rings are “stupid” and belittled everyone that ordered one. Sigh.
And we can only order ours in junior year. If we put a 100 dollar deposit on it, we got the ring box, a keychain, customized 2012 sweatshirt + matching t shirt 50 dollar deposit got you everything minus the sweatshirt.

@ marine he’s average… it’s just that standards of living are lower in the South ( i dont mean it in an offending way, but i mean like, everythings is cheaper there, but at the same ratio as our costs up here)

my family lives in GA and my cousins have a HUGE (one floor, OF COURSE it’s the south, i wouldn’t trust a 2 story :P) house… if it was up here it would be around $600,000 or even close to $1mil. but since it’s in the south it was only $100,000.

marine-- is that why that person is your ex friend?? lol

Yea, everything is cheaper here rofl. Except taxes suck.
But yea that’s partially it haha.

lol yeah, but on the same scale as us tho. thats why so many people retire and move down south. they’re technically “rich” but not rich, they just made more money.
my mom is a nurse and makes like 34/hr

down south she would make 20/hr… SERIOUSLY!?

Haha really? Good Lord.

I haven’t practiced my sax in 3 and a half weeks.
Our concert festival is next week.
■■■ :)

Oh and I’m ordering The Gatekeepers tomorrow.
It’s a book that some people on CC have mentioned. It talks about college admissions, affirmative action, etc. Sounds like a decent read.

yeah thats crazy -_-

i want to retire to cali though (:

where do you guys wanna go?

not sure if i’ll ever retire lol. but if i do.

and girl you need to practice!

I can’t practice because I (accidentally) left the damn thing at school LOL.
My band director would eat me alive if I sneaked into the band room after school…hmm.

I’ll hopefully be living in California So I’ll just retire there.
In sunny, sunny Los Angeles.

I wish these next few months would speed up so I can start applying already.

i want to live in hollywood lol

and yeah… can’t wait until dec 10-16 (EA decisions)
thank god most schools do online… i would hate to look in the mail for akinny or fat envelopes.

Only Stanford, LMU, Chapman and CSULB post their decisions online haha.
And I hear USC is going to the commonapp this fall. If they do, I think I might cry :(

The wait is going to drive me insane though. Which is why I’m applying EA to every school except Vanderbilt Even though they give out minority likely letters, thank God.

minority likely? whats the diff between that and a regular likely?
every school should HAVE to have EA, and not that SCEA yale stuff either lol

Well, it seems like this year they give some out to white students too lol.
But Vandy’s likely letters are for their multicultural program called MOSAIC.
Basically if you apply RD and you’re an exceptional minority student/have some ties to minorities/wanna work with them/whatever, they might send you an invite to MOSAIC and a letter saying you’ve been accepted.
Hopefully I receive one
I wish USC had EA Vandy has ED though. It’s not my top choice at all, so I won’t risk applying ED lol :p

hahah yeah. yale has a GREAT multicultural atmosphere! they dont have afancy name for it lol. but they have different cultural houses including AA (i think it’s a little biased though, not every black person is african american), chinese, native american (what other school has this???), chinese, hispanic, and one other thing i think?

Yale <3

I could be by my aunt.

Stanford’s Ujamaa (black cultural house) is amazing.
If I get in… best believe I’m staying there. :D

Either that, or Haus Mitteleuropa. Deutsch FTW.
Sad they don’t have a Pacific Islander themed house, but whatever.
