<p>It might mean that all semifinalists were contacted today and all rejections will come tomorrow. Getting rejected from Penn and this scholarship would be pretty terrible.</p>

<p>Emblem101… My thoughts exactly. I was told by a friend that that’s normally how it works because they have so many to contact. They send the accepted first and the denial over the next 3 days 
I’m still holding out hope. I sent my application back in August and was one of the first to apply. It’s been a long 4 months of waiting to be rejected I’m so heartbroken right now.</p>
<p>By the way…in regards to no rejections. There are several that hasn’t heard so it will be interesting to see what the outcome for us is tomorrow? Congrats to the rest of you that are semi-finalists. I’m sure each of you are well-deserving of it!!!</p>

<p>emblem101…I have lost complete hope in this scholarship since seeing everyone’s post yesterday. I don’t have a good feeling about the email I will receive today. And, my gut feeling is usually on the money. </p>

<p>Same here…but the lady told me they had not sent all the semi finalist emails out and that was around 4:00 p.m Atlanta time. I did not have any work experience so I doubt I got it.</p>
<p>Here’s a thought…I just read last year’s thread on this same subject…and, not all of the semi-finalists were sent on the same day!!!</p>

<p>Nothing here either…been watching my emails like clock work. As mentioned before, I am really trying to stay hopeful. I have been wanting this since 9th grade. I have done everything I could do that may help my chances.</p>

<p>I would like to add that after reading last years thread on this same subject matter “Community Service” seems to be the driving force for selection coupled with the rest. If this is true I understand why I will not be a semi finalist.</p>
