Class of 2014 FSU accepted / rejected thread!

Hopefullylost, I’ve been checking mine everyday still nothing haha hopefully soon though!

If you applied for December and were deferred till March, you might have a decision within the next few days. FSU has a tendency to let deferred applicants know a few days early whether they were ultimately accepted or rejected.

If you applied specifically for March, the only way you get notified early is by a huge mistake. You’ll be able to tell a few hours early through various “tricks” such as checking your account statement with your EMPLID and seeing if it has your admissions deposit, but they won’t notify you before the posted date. There are still probably several hundred applicants who are getting decisions up until literally the deadline.

Thanks pasbal!

If you want to check early, go to https://apps.oti.fsu.edu/CreateFSUID/Activation.html</a> and see if it will let you make an account! After I did it said “Congratulations! You have successfully activated your FSUID”, so I’m assuming I was accepted!!

I was deferred and I clicked on your link and all it did was help me reset my password for my FSUID lol

Please be a hoax because I got the same result and am scared to death right now.

Shouldn’t everyone already have an FSUID prior to submitting his/her application?
EDIT:
I guess there’s a difference between having one and having one activated I suppose

I don’t know. Best of luck though

Surprise! We’ve released our final round of freshmen admission decisions a bit early. Congratulations to all our newly admitted Seminoles!

I got accepted to spring! I’m grateful but Is there anyway I could change to summer so I wouldn’t have to wait?

Accepted (as freshman for fall 2014)! With full tuition reduction scholarship and university freshman scholarship! Unexpected $$, but grateful!

Semester changes are extremely unlikely. Simply because you don’t want to wait to start isn’t going to get FSU to change the semester you were accepted for. You need a good reason to not start the semester that you are accepted for.

Someone on this board was successful in getting pushed from Summer to Fall, but they had a valid reason and it still took a lot of work in getting the semester change approved (and they had to send in mid-year transcripts and a lot of other things).

If you were accepted for Spring, the odds are VERY low that you would get switched. There’s a reason that you were accepted for the semester you were accepted for.

I can’t understand how my daughter get reject by safety school FSU - GPA 4.2 . school ranking 9 AP clases -HNS Honor Roll - bilingual, Won State championship ,Community hours 140 ACT 26

pc1234…Seems like this year in particular, no school should be considered a safety school. It 's so competitive and I really believe in a lot of cases, it came down to the personal statement letters. Good luck to your daughter in her college search! She’ll end up exactly where she’s meant to be.
