Just a guess – I’d say you’re probably in with a 217. Class of 2012 cutoff scores for Oregon look to be 216, which was the highest cutoff score for Oregon as far as I know. You’ll know soon. Good luck, and congratulations on your performance!

High schools will get mail sometime this week. Just spoke with NMSC–they are sending the mail to high schools tomorrow, Aug. 27th. Press release is Sep. 11th. You may want to check with your high school later this week. Good luck to ALL!

@Arkie - not to be a Debbie Downer, but even if people make it over the NMSF hurdle, the excruciating waiting isn’t over until finalist status is announced in February. And THAT wait is pretty brutal, too.

@Jparent But most people are essentially assured NMF. 15/16 go on from NMSF to NMF. The ones that don’t either have bad grades, have bad SAT scores, or don’t receive a recommendation because of behavioral reasons.

As a reminder, this is the Official Qualifying Score Thread. It is not the chance my score thread, the good luck thread or this is what I got thread w/o verifying …

I think you’re in with a 215 for Kansas. Class of 2006 cutoff for Kansas was 215, and the Class of 2012 cutoff for Kansas was 214. Not looking at the state numbers, just historical cutoffs, I believe you’ll be considered NMSF. Even if you are not NMSF, that is still a very good score, and I congratulate you on it. Good luck!
