<p>I’m on the list in the newspaper but still nothing from the school. I’ve bugged guidance about it but she says she hasn’t gotten to her giant mail pile yet. So frustrating!</p>

<p>kellyrandom12- Same here. S just got invited to school board NMSF award ceremony, but still no word from his HS counseling office acknowledging award.</p>

<p>@gotzanax I haven’t seen the DC list yet though I was looking for the MD list and was only able to find Montgomery County’s list. Can you share the link you saw of the MD total list? If so, I promise I’ll shift my efforts to helping you find the DC one :D</p>
<p>My daughter’s school in Louisiana posted the names of their 25 semi finalists today, but I’ve seen nothing listing all the Louisiana semi finalists. If someone sees LA please post the link.</p>

<p>Our school did take pictures of all the semifinalists yesterday–in the past they have posted it on the website with pictures of all the kids, so I am guessing that is the plan again.</p>

<p>texaspg: I was looking at the NY list and there were about three pages of people each from Hunter College High and Stuyvesant High.
My school had two people. One of them was me :). Oh yeah!
Then, of course, I went over to my principal to discuss my grade issues (certain grades that I didn’t deserve that are coming back to bite me at transcript time) and after I mentioned that I’d gotten NMSF she admitted that she hadn’t had time to open the envelope :(. I mean, really?</p>

<p>Thanks texaspg! Unfortunately, my former school is more in the Dallas area, not Fort Worth - I did recognize that names of a few friends on that list, though! (there is a science/math academy in Denton that gets lots of students from the district that I attended). </p>
<p>My situation is kind of weird - I moved from Texas to California, and tried to change my school over the summer with National Merit. I called, and they told me to email or mail them. When I emailed, I didn’t get a response… until this Tuesday, which is at least a month and a half after I sent it. So of course my new school didn’t get my name, and my old school probably got my name, but likely won’t include me in any press releases since I no longer attend there. So I kind of feel like I will never find out… (I know I made the cutoff, but I feel like I bubbled things wrong on the eligibility section of the PSAT so I’m scared). I’m just hoping I can at least see my name in writing somewhere so I can get that confirmation.</p>
