Who else is going? :)

I am! Easiest decision to make in this whole process.

hey i’m a high school student looking at colleges, can you just answer a few questions for me because Bennington is one of my options…
Why were you attracted to Bennington College?
How far is it from your hometown?
Hows the campus?
What outside school activities are there?

I might be able to help since my daughter is at Bennington. The campus is beautiful, more of a New England village than a traditional college campus. Most students live in large houses rather than dorms, though they put some freshmen in more modern “houses” that are little more dorm-like. There’s a little bit to do in the town of Bennington and nearby Williamstown, but my daughter says you get used to the Bennington “bubble” and all you want to do when you leave is to get back. The style of learning is what makes Bennington the most different. There are almost no requirements at all. It’s up to you to design the education you want. You have to pursue whatever you do all out though, with a passion, and the professors will support you.
