My S handed in his enrollment deposit today at the accepted students event in Lincoln Center! After listening to Fr. McShane's speech, he said he would have joined the Jesuits too if they were taking applications! :D

Going to RH tomorrow with S. Can’t wait. Hope he gets re-psyched for Fordham!

Do keep us “post”-ed! :)

We re-visited Fordham last week on another Admitted Student Day after visiting a few schools in Boston the same week. My DD had thought Fordham was her first choice but as time passed, she was becoming more and more confused.

Anyway, we were at Fordham for less than half an hour and our entire family knew, Fordham was the place for her.(even our 11 yr old felt the magic) Very happy and excited about her decision. Deposit being sent in tomorrow.

We do not qualify for any financial aid and she received $9200 a year in Merit Aid so it is an expensive choice, but we think it is a perfect fit for her. It has absolutely eveything she was looking for in a college.

I hope all who visited Fordham’s campuses on admitted student orientation days were well received and they learned as much as they could about life at Fordham, being able to make a carefully discerned decision whether to attend Fordham or make another choice.

For those who have made that decision to attend Fordham, we welcome you to the Fordham family. For those still on the fence, I recommend you go to the facebook page Fordham set up, and talk with people coming to Fordham. For those who have decided to go elsewhere, we wish you the very best in your future academic endeavors.

Great to hear that the stress of college apps and acceptances is over! If you have any more questions about Fordham life, or want tips on adjusting, especially at LC I’ve picked up some interesting things along the way!

The Presidential Spring Preview event today was incredible. The school is incredible and everyone was absolutely helpful. I have a great feeling being in Fordham but my parents want me to make a careful decision not based just on the event. I’m still not completely sure I want to go there, but it is currently my top choice. I asked a million questions today and got every single one answered, so if anyone has any questions I might be able to add a few things I picked up today. It truly is an awesome school :)

I was there at the presidential spring review as well at Rose Hill.
Overall just an amazing day.

Father McShane is the man with his Boston College jokes and pride of the BRONX, where the bombers will return for number 28, and I would love to be at Fordham two stops from the “cathedral”

lol, I wish I could have gone… I live in cali… so I went to UCLA’s instead! being a mooch is wonderful…food! Uhhh this sounds lame but hmmm, I can’t seem to find the online enroll form on myfordham. edu… just my financial information and other things I can’t seem to find. Although I’m sure on of you will point it out and I’ll just laugh.

@saintsxreign

You have to snail mail your enrollment form/deposit postmarked on or before May 1st. Cue the laughter. :)

Sunday1X, take the plunge. Its a great school and lots of fun. You will be challenged and rewarded.

You won’t ever have a 100% certain feeling about any school. Always something out there…take the plunge, buy the gear and join the Fordham family!

^^Another Fordham family geared up and ready to go! Just put the decals on the cars this morning!!!

$300 enrollment deposit, $500 Fordham gear, $200 dinner at PJ Clarkes…just a drop in the bucket compared to what I’ll be paying the next 4 years!

Wonderful news, Sandkmom. Glad to hear it. My D registered for her senior classes this am, and two are at Lincoln Center. We are almost done and I am almost broke!

We hope you get a chance to get over to Rose Hill, if only for Football games and basketball games at Rose Hill Gym.

The food at Little Italy is fabulous. Many places don’t even have printed menus. You show up, sit at the table and they tell you whats cooking that day…and it comes out in HUGE platters of food that you share with your dinner party. Then they write up the tab at the end and its often a lot less than you might imagine. Good value and superb authentic Italian food.

lol… Well the UC’s get the advantage there… won’t be able to pay it till I get my next paycheck… and I also have to pay from prom ahhh well, no reason to whine right lol. I am laughing about the snail mail though.

There is a reason for the snail mail. They like it in writing, officially signed by YOU. So many glitches in computer world where people THOUGHT they got it in on time and found out later it wasnt.

Send it in. Welcome to Fordham.

san: Just a word of warning…a lot of Fordham students are from Queens, Connecticut and Long Island and are diehard Jets and Mets and Islanders fans. Not everyone at Fordham, though its in da Bronx! are Giants, Yankees and Rangers fans. So you know.

Haha. I’m a Yankees, Bills, and Sabres fan :D

I don’t watch any of those sports!!! lol, I’m gonna be at the pubs at lot haha, especially saturday morning, hey for TV hmmm what channels do we get? Do we get any soccer channels lol, or do I gotta wake up early every morning and make it to a soccer bar?

By the time I leave Fordham in 2014, they’ll all be Yankee fans ! I could care less about hockey haha and Giants fans v. Jets fans is a classic NY rivalry that can actually live up to the hype

Deposited last Saturday. :)
