The others are right.
Three months ago, I had been accepted to MIT (which I have no legacy/URM/special hook for, as an asian male). Last week, I was waitlisted by UChicago. I can’t tell whether my essay was really that horrendous (which I hope it wasn’t) or if the officer was feeling rather random that day, but in any case, college decisions are rather arbitrary. Nothing you can do or should worry about.

Georgetown is harder.

Well philikikool was waitlisted at UVA but accepted to Georgetown (opposite of me), hence why I said they make no sense

^Sorry, I see now. My mistake.

Accepted, according to online…I’m going to confirm with admissions because I honestly can’t believe I got an acceptance here. I’ve been REJECTED from almost every other Ivie/Top college (Cornell, Dartmouth, Columbia, Yale, Stanford, UPenn, though I havent heard from brown or duke yet) and I botched my interview completely.
If this is real, I guess it truly shows that you NEVER know what the admin committees are looking for.

I have somehow botched the register process and CANT create an account. Even when I put in the right info, it says the ID and e-mail don’t match the one from my application. I’m literally copying and pasting stuff from my common app. Is this problem common? Should I just call them tomorrow?

haha yeaa my friend was waitlisted at georgetown but accetped to princeton… wth?
