I don't know about mine but we should have this now..

not to be nit picky but I believe it should be only RD decisions right : ) Technically EE got theirs last month.

Shay33 - No, EE’s last month’s decision is not the final decision.
this is from Wellesley College - Apply - Decision plan-EE section

“At the end of February, the Board of Admission notifies candidates who apply under this plan that their chances are “likely,” “possible,” or “unlikely.” Early Evaluation applicants receive their final admission decision and financial aid notification from the Board of Admission in April.”

So, people who got ‘likely’ can be on ‘waitlist’ and people who got ‘possible’ can get accepted or denied.

So this is right. :)

@ryanghee0223 – I think Shay thought you were wondering about the Early Evaluation itself, saying that the EE already came (which yes it did mid-Feb) and thus saying that the RD was the only thing left, but I think what you were talking about the people who DID the EE plan and were now about to receive the RD…just a miscommunication, I think :D

Aside–my first post here! I am really anxious to get my letter. I did EE and got a possible so I know there’s hope!

^ I got a possible also. Do most possibles get waitlist? Does Wellesley actually reject a lot of “possibles”?

I read that it’s about a 20% chance of getting in–which, to be honest, is only a bit less than the overall acceptance rate (somewhere in the 30’s I think…don’t take my word!), isn’t it? And then the rest are wait-listed/rejected.

Thanks mockingbird. : ) And hello!
Amberstar- I was looking in previous years’ decision threads… to me it looked like a lot of possibles got waitlisted and some got accepted. It’s college confidential so the data is probably skewed…

ryanghee0223- I meant what mockingbird7013 said. I realize the EE is not the final decision, but since the EE group has its own round of “decisions” (likely, possible, unlikely) I thought it’d be less confusing for future Wellesley prospies if this thread was called RD only.
I hope that made sense, haha. Anyway, two letters are hardly significant enough to fuss over-- too late to change anything now!

Exactly. I was bummed when I first got the “possible” but that only lasted for an evening. What’ll come will come, and it will come very soon!
