My daughter got her 2nd acceptance (and scholarship offer) today - Washington State University.

It is so exciting to be able to join this group. S got his first acceptance yesterday to Xavier University. He didn’t get home til midnight and although I was dying to open the envelope for him, I let him do the honors. It was easy to wait for him seeing as the envelope had a big “congratulations” on it. I was intersted in what kind of money they were offering him. He ended up with a 16K merit scholarship! yipee. Seeing as the school started out on the affordable end getting 16K taken off makes it very attractive to me.

It is exciting, mamom! S checked his Drexel status online yesterday, and although it is his safety he did change his facebook status to reflect his acceptance.

Congrats to lizmane’s son also -is he still thinking of Lehigh and GW?

It’s great to read all the good news on here. Congratulation to all.

My daugter got her second acceptance yesterday. She’s been accepted to Pitt and Towson. As Hollisue said, it’s such a relief to get those early acceptances.

Congrats to all on the acceptances!!!

My daughter got her acceptance to Bard yesterday, her top choice and the only application she submitted. Bard has an Immediate Decision Plan. You submit your application, attend a special open house, have an interview, and they mail the decision the next business day. Definitely the way to go, no waiting until December or later to find out. And it’s non-binding, but we are going to send the deposit right away any way.

congrats to you and your D danceclass! must be so nice to be one and done!

Congratulations Danceclass. How nice to be finished so early. Now you and your daughter can enjoy the rest of the year.

Congrats to Danceclass’s D and all the others with early acceptances! My daughter has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Boston University for rowing.

congrats fishymom!

Congratulations fishymom! My daughter applied to BU ED. Maybe they’ll be classmates.

@momjr, I’ve got my fingers crossed for your daughter!

Congrats to danceclass’s and fishymom’s D’s!! How nice to be finished when there are many who haven’t even started applying.

Wow! Congrats! BU and Bard are such great schools. I attended many a Head of the Charles back in the day. So much fun. And Bard is a gem. What a special place to go to school.

Congrats, danceclass and fishymom! What great news to launch your Thanksgiving week!

It is so exciting reading this thread and I am excited to report D got into her “reach” and dream program today, the Plan II Honors College at the University of Texas Austin. WE ARE DONE!

Anyone else anxious over early decision letters?

We were until today… Lol. I have no idea what I will do between 1:00-3:00 p.m. Tomorrow. The mailman will probably think I died.
