@iheartgown: same here… I’m anticipating that we’ll get an email either tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest. According to last year’s threads, international applicants started getting emails on the 13th.

Would it be inappropriate to call the admissions office and ask? Or should I just wait it out like a sane person

@iheartgown- you will be emailed on the 15th and US people will hear back by monday/tues. if you do not get an email you can call on the 15th and they will tell you on the phone about your acceptance/rejection

No, Georgetown just promises a decision by December 15th. They mail it out the Friday before so letters reach places like California, where I am, by that date. So places like MD have already received them, and a lot of the country will get them tomorrow.

They wouldn’t email international applicants this long before the date.

I’m assuming they were mailed Friday (?)
So sometime this week, quite possibly tomorrow if you live close enough to DC

@x.sunny Thanks. Good luck!

good luck to all of you!

@mdee94 thanks :/

I honestly can no longer function. I am either refreshing this thread to see if there are any new posts, or going crazy imagining whether I’ve been accepted to or rejected from the College! Here’s hoping the emails to int. students come before Dec. 15th…

@kmni22 same here!! I have two midterms tomorrow which I’ve barely studied for because I haven’t been able to focus all day!! :S:S:S

hahaha @kmni22: same! im literally trying to stop myself from refreshing this page every 2 seconds to see if anyone has posted something new hahaha… i really really hope i get the letter tomorrow…

@cuddle @iheartgtown @kmni22

Same! I have so much to do but I just cannot focus to save my life. Let’s hope I get into gtown, if only so I don’t have to worry about schools seeing what will inevitably be worse 1st semester grades… (not studying for exams can do that…)

I am praying for an acceptance but expecting a deferral.

@constantki: I think that’s how all of us are. I don’t think anybody can expect to get into Gtown

@dchopeful14: i concur

how many teacher recommendations did you guys get? i only got one, but the first person on the EA results page got 3…

its just seems so strange that, for some of us, the culmination of our high school achievements lies in the content of that business-sized envelope. LOL

@allyyy101: i got two teacher recs, and a rec from a politician i interned for :)

I had two teacher recommendations, but submitted one, because it asked for one.

I also have two recs but only submitted one to GTown; the one from a professor that teaches the field that I want to major in at college.
