Class of 2016: EA/Regular decision discussion

if they didn’t actually release a date then you could speculate it could be on the 26th but they actually explicitly told us exactly when it would be coming out

they had said that the 15th was the date for ea yet we got them the 11th for most people so it could definitely be earlier than the 2nd

I would be very surprised if GTown timed its letters to arrive after the Ivies release, which is this Thursday…

@Languagelover wow i really didn’t know that actually…that makes me so nervous then

I would be quite surprised if we actually didn’t get them until April 2nd; it’s my feeling that they only gave that date to give themselves (and USPS) a little bit of extra time just in case, to prevent people freaking out, since April 1 falls on a Sunday this year.

so nobody got anything at all then?

nothing yet (CT)

No one’s getting anything until Thursday, and it will only be people close to DC. West Coast will either get it Saturday or Monday. That’s just my prediction. I hope I’m wrong.

Being hopeful it might be possible they were mailed today or tomorrow since it seems odd that they would wait until after ivy day. Plus letters arriving on Wednesday and Thursday is only 6/5 days before the 2nd. Definitely qualifies as a “few” days.

Hey guys just dropping in to see if I could provide some hope/answer some questions in any way. I was accepted under EA after sweating it out just like you guys. So I know how you feel right now, and let me ya, the feeling of finding out youre accpeted to Georgetown in absolutely unreal. Its unlike any other feeling to be accepted as part as something as prestigious as the Hoya family. I’m actually headed down to DC this weekend for the EA Accepted Students Weekend on the Hilltop and I can’t wait. Good luck to everyone as you prepare for possibly one of the best moments of your life.

Leeched - Did you get a large envelope or a small envelope? I heard that Georgetown sends a small envelope for all, as opposed to Notre Dame which sends a large envelope for accepts

Sorry I meant lewced - auto spell correction!

Just called them and the lady responded to my question, which was “When is georgetown mailing out decisions?” by saying “We will be mailing them this weekend, so hopefully by April 2nd”.

Georgetown sent a small envelope for acceptances. It had about 3 or 4 sheets of paper in it. Supposedly, the rejection envelopes were the same size but just had one piece of paper in it. But yeah, Notre Dame sent a large envelope with a folder and some other stuff in it for acceptance. Got in there too, but they don’t compare to Georgetown in my eyes lol. So yeah, you heard right.

Lewced thanks for the info

Mail anyone?

dying to know if anyones hear !

The mail just came here in California, and nothing still. This waiting is driving me crazy :)

nothing here in GA

I’m on my way to class at Georgetown now and the suspense of whether or not I’ll get in is killing me…And I’ve eaten nothing today and had <1 hour sleep last night…
