There are news articles for Chattanooga and Maryville. Google 2016 National Merit Semifinalists. Still nothing on DC or from my child’s school.

Who has the phone number to call for verification at NMSC? I know it was posted on this thread a few days ago but I can’t find it now. (I was hoping to not need it). Thanks to anyone who can help.
Sadly PA has never to my knowledge posted a state wide list. And I’ve searched for it extensively. Locally they do post a lot of the high schools, sometimes together, but as a “press release” it’s a bit weak. My own kid made the school’s webpage thanks to the principal, but it never ran in the paper. The press only posts what’s sent to them, and a lot of states don’t do that as a mass posting.
Our county in MD posted it overnight. It would have been nice if the kids had been told first; not every kid has parents who know how to find the info.
Still in my phone @Momof6PA …start with 847-866-5161. It’s probably their “busy season”, but I’ve always found them to be very helpful. You might have to wait a bit and be transferred.

Wow . . . our school usually has one or two that qualify, but this year we have none. Our principal (a sweet old man) will be heartbroken. 
Thanks so much @PAMom21. D doesn’t have first day of school for seniors until Friday and no news available from GC -said we’d hear “sometime in September”. Not helpful. Pretty sure she didn’t make it with a 216 but don’t know if she would want to know beore Friday. I would rather be prepared ahead of time since it’s not the news she hoped for.
@mstomper what county? I know my kid made it but haven’t looked for a listing yet.
