How do you think that colleges will look at the class of 2016’s SAT scores considering the new, 2 part score will be utilized in the next year (Spring 2016)? For instance, do you feel that many competitive colleges will disregard writing because there will not be any spot to put it in their admissions stats for the next year? Honestly, the only 25-75 SAT subscore that will hold true will be math. Which scores will the class of 2017 use as benchmarks to get into schools? Is there any chance that colleges average reading and writing and just use that for a class of 2017 benchmark? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
No; just about any class of 2016 kid will have taken their last SAT by January. So, it’s not super relevant to us.
However, I’m sure some things will change for the class of 2017 - we’ll have to wait and see.
