Class of 2018 Carnegie Mellon RD Discussion

I live in NJ, and visited CMU twice over the past year, one for sleeping bag weekend. Incredible campus and city. Hopefully I’ll see you there!

@viphan Yup, all the best! :)

Anyone want to estimate how long it’ll take for a Cali kid to get their decisions? I usually don’t get any mail at all, so I totally have no idea how USPS works. Also, this is like. An exciting time in my life. With all the letters and all.

@NigerianPrince wait, do you mind sharing what your parents work as here? :)

accepted! came in a big envelope

Congrats, Fahrenheit! Where do you live?

Pittsburgh :)

Congrats…Is it sent using priority mail or regular?

Can any admitted students please share when the CMU Admitted Students Days/Week-end are going to be? Specificly if there are any on April 6 week-end and/or April 13 week-end?

@viphan haha my bad  and @akashaka do you know Aysar G there? he’s a friend of mine who also got into CMU, tepper specifically

@selena731, they teach in ECE, in Hamerschlag

@NigerianPrince yes Aysar’s in my CS class! Yeah he got in ED. We’re really good friends! :D

@rani9933 it was sent using priority mail

Thankyou!

I wonder how long it would take to priority-mail something from Pittsburgh to Minnesota…

Answer is here:

<a href=“Priority Mail Delivery Map | USPS”>https://www.usps.com/priority-mail/map/

Will be 3 days for me :frowning: So does that mean three days after the mail out date of three days starting on that day?

Three days = Thursday

That USPS tool is pretty cool.
