As a Southern California citizen, my family and I are all concerned about the winter there. But the warmth of people in Carleton is much more important.

I’m from Vermont and it was -35 here last week so the winters really don’t worry me! And I promise to all those who are wary, they really aren’t THAT bad and you definitely learn to cope!

Yea I don’t worry about the cold…BUT explain that to my parents HAHA.

Hopefully everyone is doing well now that we’re done submitting :)

What are you guys and gals looking forward to this new year? :D

@PIE17831 definitely going to college and graduating!!

Wish the best to all ED 2 applicants

Pie, to you as well! The wait is almost over!

Does anyone know when will the admission office mail the results of ED2? Thanks

Well they posted on their instagram that they are signing and sending out letters. so I’m guessing letters will be sent out by the end of this week.

Yeah the letters have been sent. Have anyone of you received the letter? Wondering do they only send the acceptance?

I haven’t gotten anything! I’m pretty sure they (snail)mail all decisions.

But I’m not sure if they Fedex all decisions to internationals (or they only Fedex acceptances and snailmail the rest?).

I’m international so does anyone know?

They do Fedex if you are accepted according to previous year’s response from a student who works in Carleton mail office.

Any sightings of the shy striking blue folders?

Not in our house.

I’m hoping for mine tomorrow! They sent them out on Thursday so I’m thinking it should be to me by tomorrow (I live in Vermont), though if not then I really hope it’s not later than Tuesday.

I haven’t got an email about it yet. Don’t know why.

OMG! I’m in!!! Just got my Fedex tonight (expat living in Asia). Wish you all the same great news!!! CHEERS!

rejected ahh well it happens! congrats to everyone who makes it/made it, I’m sure you’ll have a blast!

Applying to Carleton means you have good taste, siriii which means you’ll get in somewhere awesome :)

Congrats to everyone who’s gotten in so far. Hopefully I’ll be joining you guys in a month and a half.

deferred

Deferred. Anybody know chances of still getting accepted?
