Class of 2018!

You can check portal on 25th no matter if you are in or not after that, you can expect physical letter. Letter coming late to international are normal. Nothing to worry about

I live in Canada, and as I said I already received mine, but they may not have sent them all on the same day, so don’t worry too much if you haven’t received it yet, you will know for sure by Tuesday.

Accepted! Got my package this morning in the mail! :)

I believe they send most of them USPS. Perhaps they send international ones via Fedex.

All domestic accepted students will get their packages via USPS and international students will get their packages via Fedex. Congratulations, Class of 2018 and I hope you all decide to come to Carleton! If you have any questions, please let me know or join the Facebook page for the Class of 2018 to ask other current students questions!

-- Current student (who also works in the Carleton post office)

^^ USPS priority mail which can reach most places in 2 days?

1-3 days, theoretically. If you’re farther away from Minnesota, it might be a day or two more.

Did they send them out today? Or should we have received them by today? (I just got waitlisted at Northwestern l o l so now I’m extremely nervous)

They sent them out yesterday, so when you get yours depends on where you live.

Were letters only sent to people who were admitted, or also rejected people?

Thanks! I live in Texas, so I’m assuming it’ll take more than 1 day.

Because I live in Minnesota (Minneapolis), and got no letter today. Am I rejected?

I’m pretty sure you get a letter in all cases. If you are rejected, you’ll get a rejection letter and if you are in, you’ll get a congratulation! letter.

Mail could have just been slow today? I’ve seen zero rejections so far anywhere

Does anybody know if Carleton offers a waitlist decision or not? Thanks in advance!

Congratulations to the new Carls!

It takes 3 days for mail from Minnesota to get to Texas (maybe 2 days for north Texas). And Carleton does offer waitlists.

What about me? I live in Minnesota, but no letter

I’m in Austin, so I’ll expect it Saturday! Thanks!

If you’re in Minnesota, you’ll probably just get your letters tomorrow, no worries! Not getting it “on time” =/= rejection. Carleton does have a waitlist but some years, they don’t take people off the waitlist (like last year when the Class of 2017 overenrolled).

Okay, so all rejection, wait list, and admittance letters have been sent?
