Thank you!

I saw on @msuadmissions on twitter that someone posted a pic of their Be a Spartan portal and the application status reflected that she was accepted for spring 2015. Everyone please post when they hear and also when all of the application docs were received

Daily portal watch! Still no change… Anyone else? Good luck everyone! Go Green! Is MSU everyone’s top choice?

Portal updated this morning!!! He’s IN! Very excited!

Application Status

Congratulations! We are delighted to inform you that you have been offered admission to Michigan State University. You must follow the Steps to Becoming a Spartan to complete your enrollment.

View an electronic copy of your Welcome Brochure for more information.

Please note this decision applies only to the term listed in your personal information (above). If you have recently submitted a new application or have submitted multiple applications to MSU, it may take up to 3 - 5 business days for new information to reflect in the online status check system.

View a copy of your decision letter

Congrats! Mine says being reviewed…cross your fingers!

Here also. S is in this morning. Applied late August from WI. Documents all in first week of September. 3.98/31. Lots of AP. NMSF. Varsity/club soccer, and a few small things like link crew, peer partners, etc.

Fabulous! Son has GPA of 3.4, no AP until this year. 27 ACT. He is currently dual enrolled at MSU, we live in EL so I’m sure that helped and took a college calc class this past summer as well and got a 3.5. EC is all high level band, marching, wind ensemble, state solo and ensemble etc. Good luck everyone and post your results!

Does anyone know how long it takes from counselor reviewing status to decision?

Hmmmm nope. Are you on twitter? Try tweeting msuadmissions. They have been answering everyone’s questions on there. Keep us posted. Mine never said under review, just went straight to admitted but likely because of dual enrollment I’m thinking. He’s already a student so it might have just been easy.

Keep us posted!

S’s went directly to admitted this morning from whatever it said before about application complete(don’t recall what it said exactly, but last night it still said that.) No intermediate review stage.

D’s never said application complete. Just said application received but all of his documents were in

Sorry. I don’t really know what it said before, but nothing about review anyway. Maybe it’s UMN-TC that says ‘app complete.’

The HS S attends is also Spartans. He’s been wearing green and I’ve been looking at that helmet logo for years. He has a whole dresser full of green jerseys, tees, sweatshirts, etc.

Hope to visit with S in Nov.after soccer is over. Have never been to E Lansing.

That’s fantastic! Love that he’s already a spartan! Is it his first choice? It’s a great town. Feel free to message me for anything I can help you with!

D admitted today. Applied late August. 3.96 UW/31 ACT, many AP courses, sports, many EC’s.

I tweeted MSU admissions. They said review by counselor can take 8-10 more weeks. Yikes!
