Does everyone’s email say “pleased to announce”? That’s just downright cruel!!
Yeah I think so swimmom. Personally I don’t think that email was cool. Like, it just makes for extreme anxiety over the weekend. WashU and NEU only emailed when the decisions were ready, so applicants were less likely to stress about it quite as much. IMO that’s a way more responsible way to go.
I think it was cruel. First to send it at all, second to say pleased to announce.
If decisions are ready, just send them.
you have to realize where they are coming from. They’ve been working non-stop and are now done reading apps and making decisions. It’s essentially their version of summer break. They should be pleased. However, I’ll admit that I too thought I was accepted at first.
I read the post on the admissions blog about this years RD stats and now I’m super anxious.
i did too, damn!
My ACT is a 33 and I held founder positions, hoping for the best!
It says they sent a personalized URL to students already?? I didn’t get one:( Just one to check MyAppVu
can u tell us the email they sent u?
does eveyone’s decision link have the word “bold”?
Oh my lord. Those admit stats are crazy!
My CR was 800, but my math was only a 700, and my ACT was only 32.
I’m a founder, top 10% and am among the criteria they provided percentages for.
Hoping, praying, crying for an acceptance. But with a year like that ^^^, I couldn’t blame them for a rejection.
Mine has bold
@cvisser96 did ur link say “bold”?
mine has bold as well
@S0U10H03 it does, yes
you guys should note that admitted stats tend to be higher than accepted stats.
@S0u10H03 what is the difference between admitted stats and accepted stats?
copy and paste the link on to the adress bar of another tab, click enter, and then click on the adress bar and see what url comes up. Do you guys get “applicant-entry” or something like that?
