Thank you so much for taking the time to respond so kindly. It had been an exciting and nerve wracking process. It sounds like your D is doing wonderfully. He is interested in acting, he just doesn’t want to give up singing. Viterbo assured us that he would be able to take the identical curriculum as my only as electives with more emphasis on acting. In the end, when auditioning for parts, they do not ask if your degree is in. Thanks for the support!

I’m sorry too. D got a no from Point Park last week, but I didn’t feel up to posting it until now.
We still have not heard from Point Park. Waiting anxiously.
So far I have received rejections from Ithaca Prescreen, CCM, Penn State, and UMich.
@hopecladwell hoping your D falls in love with one of her other choices. The “no’s” are heartbreaking. I love this thread because it is so realistic and supportive. The competition is fierce. There is a lot of talent out there and so few spots. Hang in there and know we are all rooting not just for our own kids, but each other’s too!
