CMU made calls on a Sunday last year. If they do that this weekend, technically Sunday is next week so your rumor would be correct, @MTDadandProud.
Not counting on CMU. My D didn’t get in to see Barb so we already put it in our “no” column.

Yes, My son got a yes. He got an e-mail with a link to click on with the acceptance letter for MT.

To all those waiting on Syracuse - if you don’t hear from them today, don’t panic! If they are handling it as they have in the past, they have typically sent out decisions in waves every Friday for 3-4 weeks. Each wave contains acceptances, wait lists and rejections. There did not seem to be any relationship to when you auditioned or where you fall in the alphabet. Our D did not hear until the 3rd wave - it is hard hearing others receive decisions when you hear nothing. But hang in there. No news can still be good news eventually!
I feel like posting here is going to jinx it, but I’m still waiting on BU, NYU, American, Webster, Northwestern, and Marymount Manhattan. Not really expecting any more acceptances but that’s ok! I have great (extremely varied!) options.

@HannahMTheatre Hubby just told me the UArts envelope was in our mailbox. He didn’t open because D gets to do it. Maybe check mail?

@2019theatremom Thank you for the info! I’m at rehearsal, but I’ll check when I get home. I have an acceptance that I’m very excited about, so at least the majority of the pressure is off at this point.
BU is emailing today as well.
Or rather, they will be sending an “an update has been posted to your portal” email!
@MTVT2015 Oh, great!! No expectations for BU. They were my first audition, and I was pretty terrified. But I guess you never know!
