Hi! I was just wondering how international applicants who applied early action would get their admission notification. On the portal it says that BC does not post decisions on line. Does that mean BC will be shipping mail to international applicants? In the past, mail from the US has come really late.
So how will international applicants be notified regarding their admission decision for EA?
Looks like ALL applicants this year (both in the US and international) will be receiving EA and RD decisions via email.
From the BC website:
The Office of Undergraduate Admission sends all official admission decisions by e-mail. Therefore, it is crucial that you provide a valid email address when you submit the Common Application.
If you submitted and completed an application for Early Action, we will email your admission decision by December 24. If you submitted and completed an application for Regular Decision, we will email your admission decision by April 1.
^ Well done, @dreambig2018 - yes, all applicants now receive their admission decision via e-mail. Only admitted students will receive a packet in the mail, which is shipped the day after e-mail notifications are sent.
An important note: international students do not receive an acceptance packet, as we have found the vast majority never actually arrive. All contents of the acceptance packet can be found on the admitted student website.
