Hi!
I was admitted to University of Minnesota Twin Cities’ College of Sci and Engineering on October 17th! So far this is the only admissions decision I have received but I’m hoping for a decision for UT in mid November.

D’s first admit arrived today, to UVM. She is delighted to have an admit before finals week! :slight_smile:

Received S’s first admit to Seton Hall last week. Very exciting, but hoping to hear from other schools soon…

D got her first admit today–UVM (weird to have gotten it a day late, but we’ll take it). She’s going to college somewhere!

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but D applied to University of Colorado Boulder early action three weeks ago. About a week later her account showed that they had received the completed application. Then, out of the blue, last night I (the parent) received an email saying they were confirming the application was complete. Seems odd to send that 1) to the parent and 2) three weeks after she applied and two weeks after the original notification that the application was complete. Anyone have any experience with this notification? I’ve seen in other threads that the day after the parents received this notification they received another notice that the application was being put in the regular application pile and that the acceptance decision was delayed. Thoughts?

From a different university, D received a letter stating her application was complete - after she had been accepted. I think it’s just a matter of piles and piles of paperwork to get through and it’s not necessarily automated.

Another university emailed the test scores are needed a week before receiving admission.

Hello! I just got admitted to Texas A&M, and am on Engineering Review until they make their decisions in January :))

Congratulations! For those who have received acceptance letters already for east coast schools, when did you submit your apps?

@momx21995 East coast schools is too general. All schools have different policies. D applied to U Del, for example, which is rolling beginning on 11/1. She applied in October and received her decision on 11/1. UMD, however, won’t release decisions until February.

@itsgettingreal17 Thank you - My D applied to Udel also. All her schools had all info by Nov. 1. She also applied to Penn State and everyone has said they won’t respond until the new year, yet I have seen acceptances for that school out there. The waiting game is stressful for me. She is fine. lol

@momx21995 the app to Seton Hall was submitted the first weekend in October. However there were 3 more submitted within the next couple of weeks and we haven’t heard from any of them yet (Fordham University, University of Wisconsin and George Mason University). I wish we would…it’s hard to wait.

Today I’m officially off Engineering Review for TAMU and have been admitted to the Engineering school! Waiting on Engineering Honors Decision and still waiting on UT Austin’s admission decision.
