I wanna ask everybody, having an average stats should try out to average US college (just to study in US) or should give a shot to elite universities? I’m here interested to .major in Computer Engineering with 75% (from science). Please suggest me some universities for early decision

@Cyanogen ‘average stats’ is a pretty subjective term. It’s very difficult to tell from just grades, and 75% is pretty good in my opinion. If you think your SAT scores etc can compete with other applicants for elite colleges, there’s no harm in trying. You say you want to do Computer Engineering, that really limits your options because only a few liberal arts colleges have engineering.
The first that comes to mind is Lafayette, it’s acceptance rate is almost 30% which is reasonable; however, you can never really rely on acceptance rates when you are an international student seeking financial aid.

@thenameisNuwanda ED2. I highly recommend applying, more so, from this year because they recently created a fund for low SES people for emergencies as we cannot usually afford american “emergency” costs. Also, they now say that no student will have to go food-less, home-less or drop out of college due to money issues now, which is v important.
