@Starsandmars hi! Iā€™m applying for CS and definitely far from a super genius XD
I just have good grades/scores and really love learning math/science and doing CS and Iā€™m super anxious too! Caltech is my #1 by far but I have no idea what my chances are

@brazos21 and @Ynotgo a coach told me that itā€™s always Saturdays for Caltech, so probably Dec 9 this year.

I think people at my basic public school might say that about me, but no, nope, nuh-uh.
Literally my only standout is that Iā€™m doing research rn. Itā€™s great research but itā€™s not published and I donā€™t spend my free time doing math problems while planking.

What are expectations on what day decisions will be announced and what time?

Keep in mind that only Caltech truly knows when decisions will be announced, so this is all speculation.
However, if I were to make a bet, I think they will be released on Dec. 9 at 12 P.M. Pacific. In recent years, theyā€™ve been releasing the Saturday before the Saturday of the week of the 15th, and I think because they always release on a Saturday (well established) and they release by, or before, Mid-December, they have to release on the 9th. Also, Iā€™m pretty sure they always release at noon. If anybody has any thoughts or insider info though, Iā€™d love to know for sure :).

Does anyone actually know of any international students receiving financial aid at Caltech?

@Brit~Abroad Yes, international students receive financial aid. Also, I am an international student and I applied EA!
