I really hope this means I got in because why else would they want me to sign an undergraduate campus housing and dining agreement. OMG, I hope this is a good sign, cause I have to wait until 5:30 to find out.
What is an Esther account?
it is the portal for financial aid
For those of you inquiring about the decision release time: decisions will be posted by 4:30 CST but prior releases indicate that we will likely find out at 4:00 CST
I never received an Esther login?
Did anyone receive their Rice ID but not their PIN for ESTHER? Should I email someone about that?
My daughter thought she never got an Esther log in email last year either. Apparently it came sometime after she applied in an obscure email that she may have deleted or went into her spam. She contacted financial aid after admission and they gave her the Esther login info. The Esther log in was different than the application/student number that started with an S last year.
@freshmesh167 same. Is this odd?
Does getting an ESTHER login and having all of the housing forms on that account mean that I got in? I know I’m reaching really far here but I am so nervous!!
@waiting4acepting @PBern123 Unfortunately, considering how early we received our ESTHER logins and considering how everyone has the housing forms on their account, I really don’t think it’s an indication of acceptance. I’m sure that’s why it’s marked “for students only.”
I believe everyone has those forms in ESTHER. I wouldn’t read anything into it, unless there’s someone on here that doesn’t have them for some reason. 7 hrs left! 
Of course, I could be wrong and everyone I know who applied to Rice got in! That would be the most pleasant surprise

My daughter’s Esther account has no such forms and no personal information section on the welcome page. So maybe a good sign for those that do? She did not apply for financial aid, and today is the first day to log in to her account, but not sure that would make any difference.

In the email, it says that decisions will be made available on the portal.
